Community Events adds an event submission form to your website interface so users can add events to their calendar without requiring admin access. Standard event fields allow them to enter basic event details, and you can even give them the ability to add categories and tags based on their predefined settings.

The plugin settings allow you to maintain complete control of event handling. You can require users to register with your site before submitting events (or not), choose whether events are published immediately or kept as drafts for moderation, and control whether users can edit their events after submission. It’s all up to you – just set your options and let the event submissions start piling up.
